Day 01 – Thursday – IN FLIGHT
Depart your home today – for an overnight flight to Santiago.

Day 02 – Friday - SANTIAGO
Arrive Santiago (SCL) – transfer to early check in -  PM- tour briefing - introductory tour to different neighborhoods of Santiago – Welcome Dinner.

Day 03 – Saturday – SANTIAGO
AM city-sights tour  - including Moneda Palace, Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, San Cristobal Hill – PM at leisure

Day 04 – Sunday - SANTIAGO
Full day visit to Colchagua Valley / agricultural and viticultural heartland- country town of Santa Cruz - Cardoen Museum – tour and tasting Montes winery

Day 05 –Monday - SANTIAGO – CALAMA - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
Morning flight to Calama - overland touring to San Pedro de Atacama –visit archaological sights and petrogyphs at Yerbas Buenas -  check in to hotel – PM walking tour of town, church and museum - artisans, markets, oasis life

Day 06 – Tuesday - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
AM cultural archaeological tour of area around village - including Tulor prehistoric village, archaeological site. PM visit to Valle de la Luna, Valle de la Muerte and salt canyons

Day 07 – Wednesday - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
AM at leisure – for exploring town – handicraft shopping - resting
 PM tour village of Tocanao, Quebrada de Jerez, Salar of Atacama.and Flamingos

Day 08 – Thursdays - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA – SANTIAGO – LAKE DISTRICT
AM early overland transfer to Calama – fly via Santiago (SCL) to Temuco (TMC) - transfer to Pucon on shores of Lake Villarica - time to explore Pucon on own – volcano and lake scenery – specialists in woodwork– complete infrastructure and quaint town in middle of Araucanian
forests and indigenous Mapuche heartland.
OVERNIGHT:  GRAN HOTEL PUCON, (1 NIGHT):  (B, Snack on Plane)

Day 09 - Friday – LAKE DISTRICT - PUCON – PUERTO VARAS
Morning at leisure to explore Pucon - shopping - strolling – Pucon volcano – lovely lakes scenery.  Noon visit Mapuche working farm and Ruka, including  traditional foods.  PM transfer on Panamerican Highway to Puerto Varas -quaint lakefront town under Osorno volcano.  Dinner at hotel

Day 10 – Saturday – LAKE DISTRICT PUERTO VARAS
AM excursion to Falls of Petrohue –Lake District scenery - Germanic settler museum –light snacking lunch along way - afternoon at leisure to explore lakeside Puerto Varas

Day 11 – Sunday - CHILOE ISLAND
Overland touring to Chiloe Island.  Enroute visit Angelmot Fish Market – ferry crossing to Chiloe-rural island life scenery  PM walking tour of Ancud – Spanish fortress

Day 12 – Monday - CHILOE ISLAND
Full day excursion in Chiloe –  visit tiny ports -  ferry to isolated Achao island  – visit Achao and Curaco de Velez – explore Chiloe capitol Castro – city tour – pastel cathedral - craft markets.

Day 13– Tuesday - CHILOE – SANTIAGO – MAINTENCILLO
Ferry crossing to mainland to Puerto Montt airport – flight to Santiago – transfer through Central Valleys to Maitencillo – enroute visit Quillota Calvary School, one of the world’s last, -arrive at luxurious Marbella Resort – tranquil fishing village – endless beaches

Day 14 - Wednesday - VALPARAISO – VINA DEL MAR- MAINTENCILLO
Full day tour of Valparaiso / Vina del Mar & Pacific coast line – Farewell Dinner.

Day 15 – Thursday – MAINTENCILLO - SANTIAGO
Morning at leisure in seaside resort in Maitencillo – evening transfer to Santiago -enroute continue up the coast visitng small villages of Cachagua, Zappallar and Papudo- connect to international flights home or to post trip extensions – Easter Island, Patagonia or other.  (B)
