THIS TOUR INCLUDES:
The cost of this tour is $4,295 for this March & November 2008 departures, from Santiago, Chile, for 15 days, per person, double occupancy. It includes:

TRANSPORTATION: On regularly scheduled domestic flights, ground transportation by private and public motor coach, ship and launch.
ACCOMMODATION: Fourteen (14) nights in twin bedded rooms in hotels as listed in the itinerary. Single rooms are available if requested at time of deposit for a supplement of $915 for the 15 day tour.
MEALS: Twenty Two (22) meals are included as listed in the itinerary.
TRANSFERS AND PORTAGE: By motor coach or auto between airports, piers and hotels as shown in the itinerary. Portage provided for one standard sized suitcase per person. A small carry-on bag may also be taken; to remain in the individuals care at all times.
NOT INCLUDED: International Airfare, Passport cost, Chilean visa (reciprocity tax), meals not listed, beverages, telephone calls, laundry and/ or dry cleaning, gratuities for personal services and any items of a personal nature and items not specified above as included.
VISA FEE: The Chilean government charges a ´reciprocity tax´, a fee equal to the visa / entrance fee charged to Chilean citizens by other countries. This fee must be paid upon arrival at Santiago´s International. Airport. It is only charged there, not at border posts. It can be paid in US dollars cash or by credit card. US citizens are charged $100 USD, Canadians are charged $55 USD
TIPS: Gratuities for Tour Directors are not included.
DOCUMENTS: A valid passport and visa for travel to Chile is required. Chile Visa (reciprocity tax) is obtained at the Santiago Airport on arrival as stated above.
DEPOSITS: A deposit of $500.00 per person, together with the completed and signed reservation form, is required to reserve a place on this tour. Final payment is due in full 90 days prior to departure to Chile.
CANCELLATION/ REFUND: There will be a cancellation charge for the land portion of the tour of $90.00 per person for anyone who finds it necessary to cancel and advises C.S.J. in writing no later than 90 days prior to the day of departure. After that there will be a cancellation charge of $400.00 per person for cancellation 45-89 days prior to departure; $800.00 per person from 44 days to the date of departure. No refund shall be made after the tour has departed. Additional cancellation penalties related to the airfare portion of the tour may apply if cancellation occurs after ticketing has been completed.
TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. FULL TRAVEL INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE THROUGH YOUR FAVORITE TRAVEL INSURANCE PROVIDER OR Travel Insurance Services 1-800-937-1387.
EXTENSIONS: a variety of trip extensions can be arranged on an individual basis including Patagonia, Easter Island, Argentina and other destinations.
